The Bali Hotel is one of the earliest establishments of hospitality on the island. Built in 1927, the Dutch KPM's first point of rest and departure for the trip to the eastern part of Indonesia.
But here's the interesting part: we put it on 1946 for the logotype. Why? Because in that era, in that year, Indonesia became 2 nations of states—which declared themselves Serikat Indonesia Timur; you can google this.
From our colonizers and now can be enjoyed by a mass audience for as little as $20/day! So enjoy.

Credits & Credentials
This project is part of an experimental internship done in a specific region in Indonesia, with a chance to try out anything that can be tried.
For instance, this project's early idea is to 're-brand' a village in Bali. But it pivoted because, let's not rebrand the village. What if it becomes more gentrified and goes viral in the next few days? So we want to do the impossible: rebrand a hotel that is Indonesian State Owned.
